API Pond Melafix is an all-natural, antibacterial treatment designed to address a range of koi and goldfish diseases, including eye cloud, mouth fungus, tail rot, fin damage, ulcers, and open wounds. Ideal for use when adding new fish to your pond or when your fish show signs of illness, API Pond Melafix supports the healing process without harming aquatic life.
This product is safe for snails and other invertebrates and will not negatively impact aquatic plants, pond pH levels, or your pond’s natural biological filter. It comes in a 118 ml bottle and is not intended for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children. This product contains beta-Myrcene, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.
Directions for Use:
1. Remove carbon from pond filter and turn off UV lights and ozone-producing units (if applicable).
2. Add 1 tablespoon for every 150 gallons of pond water or 0.25 cup for every 600 gallons.
3. For prevention when introducing new fish, dose daily for 3 days.
4. For treating infections or healing wounds, dose daily for 7 days.
