Aquasonic Bactonex
Aquasonic Bactonex is a broad-spectrum aquarium treatment formulated to help prevent and manage bacterial, fungal, and protozoal infections in both freshwater and marine fish. It is commonly used to support fish health during periods of stress, quarantine, or environmental change.
This treatment is effective against a range of common aquatic pathogens including Velvet, Whitespot, Chilodonella, Trichodina, and Trichodinella. When used correctly, Aquasonic Bactonex supports recovery while helping to stabilise aquarium health.

Directions for use
- Do not use on fish intended for human consumption.
- Ensure the aquarium remains well aerated during treatment.
- Remove activated carbon from filtration before dosing.
- If using under-gravel filtration, reduce flow rates during treatment.
- This product contains a dye that may stain if spilled.
Dose rate
- Add 10 mL per 40 litres of aquarium water.
- Repeat dose after 5 days if required.
- Do not overdose.

How to calculate aquarium volume
To calculate approximate tank capacity:
Length × Width × Water Level Height (cm)
Divide the result by 1,000 to obtain litres.
