Price range: $24.99 through $35.99

Description

Aquasonic Para-Gone

Aquasonic Para-Gone Tablets are formulated to assist in the control of most external fish parasites in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This targeted treatment is commonly used to manage infestations such as Fish Lice, Gill Flukes and Anchor Worms, which can cause irritation, stress and long-term health issues if left untreated.

External parasites often cause fish to rub, flash or scratch against aquarium surfaces. Early identification and prompt treatment with Aquasonic Para-Gone helps limit parasite spread and supports fish recovery when combined with good aquarium management.

Controls common external fish parasites

Aquasonic Para-Gone assists in controlling a range of external parasites, including:

  • Fish Lice (Argulus spp.)
  • Skin and Gill Flukes (Ergasilus spp.)
  • Anchor Worms (Lernaea spp.)

This product is intended for external parasite control only and is not effective against bacterial or viral infections.

Important safety information

  • Do not use on marine invertebrates such as shellfish or anemones.
  • Remove invertebrates during treatment and return them only 5 days after the final dose.

How to use the tablets

Pre-dissolve tablets in a disposable cup before adding to the aquarium. A small amount of insoluble residue may remain and is harmless to fish.

How to calculate aquarium volume

To calculate approximate tank capacity:

Length × Width × Water Level Height (cm)

Divide the result by 1,000 to obtain litres.

Good aquarium management matters

Maintaining stable water quality and appropriate stocking levels is essential for preventing parasite outbreaks. Many fish health issues are linked to environmental stressors.
