Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park
This holiday park is run by the local council and is literally right on the foreshore.
They even have moorings and a jetty for those who have booked ahead to arrive and stay on their boat.
What a great way to enjoy this fishing and holiday town.
For those camping on dry land there is a choice of powered and unpowered sites.
They do allow up to 2 dogs per site; dogs need to be supervised and restrained.
Walks on the beach are OK provided your dog is on a leash and you must clean up and dispose of any droppings.

High Country Holiday Park – Mansfield
This holiday park includes powered and unpowered sites among its accommodation options.
Dogs are permitted that area of the park provided they are on a leash at all times and are well-behaved.
As one of the best pet friendly camping Victoria Facilities include a camp kitchen, BBQ, tennis courts, laundry, amenities block, playground and a heated saltwater pool for the Summer months.
Hmm, if it is heated in Summer that paints a picture of what it must be like in Winter.
That is the beauty of the High Country though as there are plenty of different things to see and do throughout the year.
Mansfield Zoo and a local winery are a short 10-minute drive away.
It is a 40-minute drive to Mt Buller or Craig’s Hut. Even closer, at 150M is the Great Victorian Rail Trail that can be explored by foot, bike or horse.
The area has some great cafés and restaurants, or if nature is calling it is a short drive to Lake Eildon.

NRMA Bright Holiday Park
Bright township has an interesting mix of cafés, restaurants and boutique shops for pet friendly camping Victoria.
It is also 1.5 hours from Albury or the ski resorts of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham.
Just remember there are no dogs permitted in National Park areas.
Dogs are permitted in the camping section of the holiday park, excluding the ensuite sites and the cabin areas etc.

This location is in the Greater Melbourne area, just North of Frankston heading into the Mornington Peninsula.
It is just under a 1-hour drive to Melbourne CBD and is one of the best Pet friendly camping Victoria.
There is a dog park next door, great for exercising your dog.
The park has the usual amenities like a Camp Kitchen, BBQ, Laundry, Lounge and even a swimming pool for the warmer weather.

This park is a 30-min drive to the Melbourne CBD. Dogs are permitted on the sites only with a choice of powered tent sites, and powered paved sites.

The location is close to the MCG and Etihad Stadium for sports lovers as well as being close to the café culture and Queen Victoria Markets.

This region is very popular with tourists as well as a weekend getaway from Melbourne.
It has gorgeous scenery, walking trails, quaint towns such as Daylesford, and the thermal spa’s at Hepburn Springs as just a few of a long list.

Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park
Lorne is a lovely small town and an ideal base along the scenic Great Ocean Road; one of those iconic “must see” places on most Aussies bucket list.
There are actually 5 different holiday park zones that make up the Lakeshore Foreshore Caravan Park and amenities vary according to each park.
Among their camping sites they have allocated a selection for dog friendly camping during the period 1 February to late December each year.
This does exclude holiday periods such as Labour Day weekend (March), Easter school holidays, Melbourne Cup weekend and times advised by management.
There is a maximum of 2 dogs per site and they must be restrained and supervised at all times.
Dog owners are required to clean up and dispose of droppings.

Firstly, dogs are not permitted at any sites within the Grampians National Park. Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park is dog friendly and also offers a fenced off leash play area.

The Gold Fields & The Murray
Big 4 Swan Hill
This is a privately owned family park in Swan Hill, close to The Murray River and the border between Victoria and New South Wales.
The area has markets, wineries, bike or walking trails, fishing or a paddle steamers cruise on The Murray, or a 70-km drive to Lake Tyrell; an inland salt-lake.
The park facilities include a swimming pool, splash park, jumping pillow, mini golf, games room and pedal go-karts. Kids will love it.
