Low Head Tourist Park – NE Coast
Low Head is on the eastern side of the River Tamar and is classes as a suburb of Georgetown, 5KM away.
It is a popular area for snorkeling and scuba diving as it also fronts onto Bass Strait.
Low Head Tourist Park is pet friendly with a choice of camping sites and powered sites, subject to availability.

Burnie Airport is actually situated around 17KM west, in the seaside rural town of Wynyard.
It is the regional hub for the area.

Swiss Cottage Grindelwald Lodge
Grindelwald is around 15KM south of Launceston.
The lodge also has the freestanding Swiss Cottage that is also dog friendly.
We would recommend having your dog approved before making your booking.
There is an indoor pool that operates from October until April; no Winter access.

Leisure Ville Holiday Centre – Wynyard
Wynyard is a town on the NW coast of Tasmania
This holiday centre is a rarity in that it has an indoor swimming pool along with a games room and the usual facilities.
Their camping & caravan sites are pet friendly but pets must not be taken inside and other accommodation or facilities.
