Thanks for reading this article on Dog friendly road trips WA.

Pre-pandemic tourism was an important contributor to the economy for all states, territories and the country as a whole. The source of that income included our own domestic market as well as that from overseas visitors to our country.

We also had a huge amount of overseas travel from our own population that still added to our economy.

As traveling with pets during covid can be a hassle, it will eventually ease but how we holiday, to where, how we get there etc. are all things that may paint a different picture to what we have experienced previously.

Here is how we have segmented the various regions in Western Australia;

Perth & beyond

Freemantle, York, Rockingham, Mandurah, Swan Valley

Margaret River & South West

Bunbury, Augusta, Albany, Nannup, Bussleton

Australia’s Coral Coast

Cervantes, The Pinnacles, Geraldton, Mullewa, Monkey Mia, Carnarvon, Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef, Shark Bay, Exmouth

Broome & North West

Karratha, Port Hedland, Marble Bay, The Kimberley, Kununurra, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Pilbara, Lake Argyle

Australia’s Golden Outback

Eucla, Caiguna, Esperance, Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie, Leonora, Mt Magnet, Meekatharra, Newman

We hope this guides you with planning and that you have a fantastic time on your ‘holiday at home.’
