It is Campground No. 1 that is the pet friendly accommodation option at this property.
Pets must be on a leash at all times due to the proximity of the National Park.
In addition to a Bar there is a Kitchen that has takeaway food. In the busy season they open their Bistro in the evenings.
It is a short 100M walk to the local thermal pools.
Like anywhere in the NT, make sure you read and follow the signposted information and warnings; in particular relating to currents, rocks, and crocodiles.

Ooraminna Station – Hale (South of Alice Springs)
This is a working station that also holds events as well as having holiday accommodation.
There is an onsite restaurant for guests; if there is an event on then food will be delivered to the cabins.
They will allow pets at Ooraminna; this is at the discretion of management and subject to their approval.
You will need to discuss that you wish to bring your dog in advance of making your booking.
As there are other animals and children on the property you must keep your dog on a leash.
If you bring your dog into the cabin there is a $40 cleaning fee.
They will not grant approval for hunting or pig dogs on the station.

Coolalinga Tourist Park – Coolalinga (Greater Darwin area)
This property is just off the Stuart Highway, around 26KM south of Darwin is available for camping, caravans and RV’s.
It is a good place as a base while you tour the National Parks.
They even have a list of suggested pet resorts and kennels in the Darwin area if you need temporary homes for your dog while you visit the area you cannot take your dog.
The park is pet friendly and they will provide you with written conditions on arrival.
We would still recommend contacting them to get your dog pre-approved for one of the powered sites.
The do have a large dog exercise area that is fully fenced. They also have a swimming pool to cool off on those hot NT days and evenings.
Other facilities include Camp Kitchens, BBQ’s, coin-operated laundry and across the road are two shopping centres with supermarkets and a department store.
