Mole Creek is a drive of around an hour from the Devonport Ferry Terminal. The town is situated in the Mersey Valley, with its honey production being around 35 per cent of Tasmania’s production. Quarrying and processing limestone are another major part of the local economy. Tourism is also a major income producer and its proximity to National parks is important to the town. Cradle Mountain is close enough to visit on a day trip.
The Caravan park is about 4KM outside Mole Creek township. It offers free dog friendly powered and unpowered camp sites, WIFI, kitchen, laundry, showers and potable water. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
