Snug is a small seaside town around a 20-minute drive south of Hobart. It is also a town that has seen hard times, with massive bushfires in 1967 that destroyed around two thirds of the homes.

It has easy access to head in many directions and is very close to one of the Derwent River bridges for getting to places such as MONA only a short drive.
