The park has powered and unpowered sites along with cabins, bunk rooms and vintage caravans. They do allow pets; with conditions that you are best to discuss with them prior to making your booking.

Orroroo Caravan Park

Orroroo Caravan Park – Orroroo (Flinders Ranges area)

Orroroo is a small town around 1-hour drive east from Pt Augusta and a 3-hour drive west of Adelaide. It’s a great place to base yourself while you explore the ranges.

The park has a mix of lawn and gravel sites as well as cabins. They do advertise as being dog friendly. Discuss your preferred option with them prior to making your booking.

Duilius Holiday Home

Duilius Holiday Home – Robe (Limestone Coast)

The seaside town and fishing port of Robe is a perfect destination for that weekend getaway at around 337KM SE of Adelaide.

Duilius is a classic renovated limestone cottage in the historic section of Robe. It has 1-bedroom making it an ideal getaway for a couple. They are dog friendly and you should discuss your dog’s requirements with the managing agents, Robe Lifestyle Properties.

The area is split into 2 areas; Myponga and Myponga Beach. On one hand you have cliffs and a beach; the other direction is dairy grazing. It is a great base to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula and offers great swimming, diving, beach and rock fishing.

The property is a restored stone farmhouse set on an idyllic 116-acres of land that the owners and their children have planted around 4000 local eucalyptus and acacia trees. The property is pet friendly and we recommend you discuss your dog before making your booking.

Wozza’s BNB

Wozza’s BNB – Melrose (Flinders Ranges)

Melrose is the oldest town in the Flinders Ranges and is situated 265KM N of Adelaide. It has a strong indigenous history. There are also many heritage-listed buildings in the town. It is often used as a base for people climbing the nearby Mount Remarkable National Park.

Wozza’s has themed rooms; Westpac Room, Bank SA, Commonwealth, NAB and ANZ which adds a quirky twist. They do advertise as dog friendly; with a small additional charge. It would pay to contact them to get their approval before booking.

Yondah Beach House

Yondah Beach House – Foul Bay (Yorke Peninsula)

We also had difficulty trying to find a pet friendly hotel on the Yorke Peninsula. However, as an alternative we have selected this amazing property at Foul Bay.

Yondah is a deluxe private property of 150-acres. The property is architect designed, is a multi-award-winning destination and is dog friendly. This is a very special price with 2KM of coastline and even has its own beach.

Whyalla Caravan Park

Whyalla Caravan Park – Mullaquana (Eyre Peninsula) pet friendly

Mullaquana is a locality that adjoins the southern side of the city of Whyalla. It is sometimes billed as the quieter alternative.

This caravan park has powered and unpowered sites as their dog friendly accommodation option. Dogs are not permitted in any of the park buildings or cabin options. They must be on a lead at all times. We suggest you contact them prior to making your booking.

Port Broughton Tourist Park

Port Broughton is a small seaside town on the NE coastline of the Yorke Peninsular. It is around 170KM NW from Adelaide and 56KM S of Port Pirie. The population is just over 1,000 people, but thanks to tourism can be 4 times that figure in the holidays.

This tourist park has powered and unpowered camping and caravan sites as their pet friendly accommodation options.

Hahndorf Lodge

A picturesque town famous for its wineries and food experiences.

This lodge has a range of accommodation options, has free WIFI and parking; and is pet friendly. It is a short walk to the main street.

Robe Holiday Park
