Luxe Haus – Southern Beaches
Moana is one of the southern beaches around 45KM back to Adelaide CBD. It is a perfect spot to unwind or to use as a base for day trips to Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, local vineyards and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
This house is luxurious, hi-tech, 4-bedrooms, 7-bathrooms, accommodates 8 people, 3 kitchens if sharing. That is only the beginning; if we listed all the features, they would easily fill a whole page in this guide. It is advertised as pet friendly and we would suggest calling them to discuss your dog, approval process, bond amounts etc. before you make a booking.
Yondah Beach House
We also had difficulty trying to find a pet friendly hotel on the Yorke Peninsula. However, as an alternative we have selected this amazing property at Foul Bay.
Yondah is a deluxe private property of 150-acres. The property is architect designed, is a multi-award-winning destination and is dog friendly. This is a very special price with 2KM of coastline and even has its own beach.
Passing Winds
Emu Bay is on the north coast of Kangaroo Island, around 13KM west of Kingscote. It is a great spot to base yourself while you explore the island famous for its flora and fauna, beaches, fishing, honey production, lavender farm, eucalyptus oil distillery, walking and boating.
Passing Winds is a luxury modern home with direct access down an access path to the beach below. It will accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. They are dog friendly, subject to prior arrangement, approval and availability. There is a non-refundable fee of $50 for cleaning between guest bookings.
Hilton Adelaide
This is a luxury property right in the Adelaide CBD. They are dog friendly, with a number of rooms set aside. You will need to make your initial enquiry using the phone number below so that they can take you through their pet policy and charges prior to making your booking.
Gaerwood B&B
Keith is a town near the border of the Murray Lands and the Limestone region, around 225KM SE from Adelaide, via Murray Bridge. It is a junction town with the Dukes Highway and the Riddoch Highway meeting at this point. Lucerne is the major agricultural crop grown in the area.
This B&B is located in a country setting, has 2-bedrooms and is dog friendly. Phone the owner first to make sure your dog will be OK before making your booking.
Bonnies of Beachport
Beachport is a small seaside town on the Limestone Coast and is around 311KM SE of Adelaide. It is home to a large fleet of cray-fishing boats. The town has several historical buildings made from the local limestone.
Bonnies is a luxury beachfront property of 2-bedroom self-contained apartments available for holiday rental. Apartments 1 “Lipsom” and 3 “Sherbet” are pet-friendly subject to availability and approval from the manager. You will need to call on the primary phone number below.
Allure Beach Retreat
Over 1/3rd of the island is designated National Park or Conservation area. There is much rebuilding and regrowth currently following the devastating bush fires in early 2020.
This retreat is about a 20-minute drive from the ferry terminal. It is a luxury property that is fully self-sufficient and pet friendly. They have 2-bedrooms and beds for 3, with 1 bathroom.
Adelaide Inn – North Adelaide
North Adelaide offers travelers so much to occupy them; convenience to the CBD of course, and proximity to the Botanic Gardens, Adelaide Zoo, Adelaide Oval Stadium as well as great restaurants and boutiques.
The Adelaide Inn is pet friendly with a number of dedicated courtyard rooms. This is subject to application prior to booking; a surcharge will apply. They do supply a water bowl and treats.
It is a luxury property with pool, spa and the Fox restaurant inhouse.
Corny Point Caravan Park
Corny Point is in a unique position, being on the western side of Yorke Peninsula and facing north. It is a great place for surfing and boat fishing as well as enjoying the bays and beaches.
The powered and unpowered sites are the dog friendly accommodation options at this park. Pets are not permitted inside the cabins or cottage.
Facilities include the “Shed” that houses the Camp Kitchen and games room. There is also a playground, coin-operated laundry, fish cleaning area, boat cleaning area and a baby bathing area.
