This holiday park is around a 40-minute drive south of Darwin and 20-min south of Palmerston, close to Berry Springs.

Their caravan sites are pet friendly for small dogs only; they are not permitted into any of the cabins and you must contact the park to get your dog pre-approved prior to booking.

Other facilities include an inhouse bar and restaurant, outdoor cinema, free WIFI, saltwater pool in addition to a Camp Kitchen, BBQ’s and a laundry.

This funky boutique hotel with indoor pool is set in the wharf area of Woolloomooloo and is very close to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The hotel describes their look as ‘heritage meets modern luxury’ and that sure shows looking at the different accommodation offers on their website.

Dog friendly accommodation with pool was the brief. I don’t think we were prepared for the style, luxury and lovely indoor pool that this property offers; yet so close to the Harbour, Gardens and CBD.

How about your own private resort on 2-acres with an indoor pool? This is a luxury house with 6 bedrooms (sleeping 16 people) You could share with a group or book it all for yourself, and dog as well; as they are dog friendly.

Dogs must strictly be kept outside of the house, and that means being excluded from bedrooms and on furniture. There is a suitable dog sleeping area at the back of the laundry. The property is fully fenced which is great for letting your dog have a good run; but make sure you bag and dispose of all dog waste.

This property is a bliss escape from everyday life, yet is still close to Moss Vale and Berry. Most people probably never leave the retreat as the property is on 160 acres with amazing bush and mountain views plus plenty of wildlife. You can even book a massage to really unwind and relax.

There are a few cottages to choose from and the Elysium cottage is dog friendly, thanks to its fenced garden. You do have to get the dog approved before making your booking.

As something a bit different try inland to the Kangaroo Valley for that holiday cottages South Coast dog friendly style. The views are awesome and the serenity will have you coming back again. A great find.

You book the entire lodge; 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and accommodation for 17 (15 adults and 2 children). It is also dog friendly and you need to discuss this when making your booking.

Upon your arrival a baby gate is fitted to your room so that your dog can keep to the tiled area in the room. A further $125 bond is held to cover steam cleaning if the dog has been on furniture, bed or carpeted area.

Dogs are not permitted to be taken into other rooms and further charges will be made if this happens.
