Winton is the largest of the 3 towns included in the above mentioned Dinosaur Trail triangle. In addition to the Dinosaur theme there are plenty of other things to experience in this area such as the indigenous history and art, the famous Royal Open-Air Cinema, Arno’s Wall, Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, Dinosaur Stampede National Monument and many natural attractions.

The Combo Waterhole is also nearby and is believed to be the site where Banjo Paterson wrote Waltzing Matilda.

In addition to cabins they offer powered caravan and motorhome sites as well as unpowered camping sites. The do have a pool to unwind in and relax at the end of the day as well as a wading pool for the kids.

They are pet friendly, with dogs of all shapes and sizes welcome. The park is securely fenced.
