Situated on the south bank of the Murray River, this town is in the Riverland region of SA.
It is a rich agricultural area, with orchards and a winery and it is a good place to base yourself to tourn the local region including to the Banlock Wetlands area.

Kingscote Tourist Park & Family Units β Brownlow (Kangaroo Island)
Note: Firstly, Kangaroo Island does permit dogs (and cats) onto the island when travelling with their owners, such as using the ferry from Cape Jervis.
They are not permitted in any of the parks or park facilities on the island; which means around 1/3 of the island prohibits cats and dogs.
Kangaroo Island is also known as Karta, βThe island of the deadβ and sadly that name took on a new meaning after the 2020 bushfires.

Coodlie Park Farm Retreat β Eyre Peninsula (Port Kenny near Venus Bay)
Port Kenny is on the western side of the upper Eyre Peninsula, just south of Venus Bay.
It’s economy is based on agriculture, fishing and tourism. It is around 655 KM west of Adelaide.

Skytrek Willow Springs Station β Hawker (Flinders Ranges region)
Hawker is a Flinders Ranges town situated around 365KM N of Adelaide.
It was a thriving railway town from the 1880βs through until the mid-1950βs, when the rail route was shifted further west.
Their current day economy is based on sheep, a growing number of cattle and in tourism.
The location of Willow Springs Station is around 21KM NE of Wilpena Pound (just 3km off the Flinders Ranges Way), and around 71KM NE from the town of Hawker.

There is a limited number of bush camping sites; around 2KM from the homestead.
We suggest you mention your dog prior to booking.
The sites come with fire ring and BBQ plate, picnic table and a long drop toilet; all pretty basic but after all that is part of the experience of being in an outback station environment.
