Peanut Butter Biscuits – Homemade Dog Treats With Rolled Oats and Peanut Butter

David
Believe it or not but dogs love peanut butter, but you need to be careful that the commercially available brands do not contain salt, additives, or spices like Chili. If you have a food processor, why not making your own using raw Peanuts and drizzle in Peanut Oil to your processor until you get the right consistency (You might even find you prefer this for yourself as well).

I really appreciated the diverse protein schedule in this recipe. It’s so easy to just feed the same recipe over and over and forget about how important it is to change up your protein base from chicken to turkey then to another type of meat.

You will not find anything revolutionary in these recipes, however, it’s a great reference for checking if you are feeding proper portion sizes for each of the ingredients.

I just want to start by saying that I am a long time natural pet shop fan (yes we bought a few dog beds). In saying that my husband and I have been cooking for ourselves, pretty much everything from scratch, for over 10 years. That said, overall this is a good informative post, most of the recipes are sensible and its loads of fun to make tasty and nutritious meals and treats for your dogs which i know now are vet approved. With all of the dog food recalls and safety issues concerning the pet food industry, I do not mind cooking for my dog at all.
